The future of PMP certification is up for writing now. The PMP certification and PMP training has been steadily on the increase and more professionals are taking this line to enhance their salary and future. Still the future is good for PMP certification. Now it is 2013 and what will be the PMP like in 5 or 10 years from on. You cannot compare the present situation with that of 1984. The PMP has come a long way to be compared. What will happen if every professional has PMP certification with him or about companies which is having their own PMOs? PMI is a great organization and the PMP certification given by them to any professional who got PMP certification after taking PMP training. The PMP course has its own method of teaching and the passing professional deemed fit to be called a Project Manager or PM. But it does not mean that the mere holding of PMP certification is not proving any professional credentials on the subject. But his test will come once he joins a company and assigned a project to show his skills. Then only any professional’s capacity can evaluated for his skills in PMP certification. Based on your work and customer satisfaction your ratings will be done. But don’t lose heart on your testing it is a routine procedure and your skills and keenness in the work will ensure good ratings.

Many professionals have put more years of experience in project field without getting PMP certification and still called PM. They are ready to take PMP certification and compete with younger professionals in the field. If you got PMP certification then you will earn more salary than ever before. When I decided to take the time for getting PMP certification then news came the company is going to shut shop and goes my ambition of getting PMP certification. 

May be my predictions will fail. As the world economy is growing with faster the developing countries offer better positions for PMP certification holders to look for jobs in the world. Since the PMP training is globally recognized you can work in any part of the world. Many companies in the future will hire a PMP certification holder to do the project without having them on their payroll.

With developing countries offer good salary the need for good and experienced PMP certification demand will be on high. As the countries are doing more infrastructure projects to help their people with road and communication. But the growth is one sided now with developed countries have reached saturation and holds no opportunity for PMP certification holders. With India, China and other developing countries in Africa and South America offer more positions to project managers. That is why the professionals in those countries are taking PMP training and eager to get PMP certification. There is still a growth for PMP certification holders and it will be remote and paperless work. With the use of the technology more work is done without paper. You will be in a position to work from your home with computer thus saving energy and protecting environment.
